Irish Carbon Trading Platform

  • Cloughjordan Eco-Village

Cloughjordan is Ireland’s first ecovillage, surrounded by 50 acres of beautiful land dedicated to woodland and active food production. A renewable energy centre provides heat and hot water to all homes, and the eco hostel ‘DJango’s’ is now open. Construction on the ‘WeCreate’ green enterprise centre has started and plans are in place for more community buildings.

Innovative Management for Europe’s Changing Coastal Resource


The LivingGreen project gathers together nine organisations and municipalities in five countries as to create the conditions for a ‘living green’ life style in North West Europe’s beautiful and characteristic cities. Together they will renovate heritage buildings.


MAYORS in ACTION empowers Coordinators and Supporters (C&S) of the Covenant of Mayors in effectively assisting their municipalities in implementing and monitoring their SEAPs.

The Middle Mill is the only mill in the Netherlands that has been preserved in its original state and has been producing paper by water and steam since 1622.

  • Redfield Community

Redfield is an Intentional Community situated in North Buckinghamshire, England. The house is a large old mansion with 17 acres of gardens, woodland and pasture surrounded by farmland. The community has received funding from the Low Carbon Building Programme Phase II and has installed 19kW PV panels, 8kW hot water panels and a 100kW gasification log boiler.


The REGAIN project is a program which is searching by the exemplary nature to cheer the investors to build or to refurbish some Industrial Buildings with high energy performance.
