Ace promotes the importance of renewable energy in the everyday life of citizens, businesses and local government – the idea is, if the right information is supplied, more people will use renewable energy. Ace supports the fact that renewable energy is necessity for our future.

Launch of the 5Cube & the Dublin City Energy Fair

As part of the Ace project, Dublin City Council & Codema launched the 5Cube at Hanover Quay in Dublin's Docklands on Friday, 19th June . The 5Cube was designed by architect Declan Scullion and represents how much oil Ireland is consuming every 5 minutes. To coincide with the 5Cube launch, Codema also hosted the Dublin City Energy Fair in Civic Offices on the same day. The event was a celebration of sustainable and renewable energy and featured a whole host of interactive stands, including a lighting display, the energy bike challenge, e-car test drives and much, much more...

Ace Renewable Energy Lego Workshops on Irish National TV

As part of Codema's involvement in the Ace project, they teamed up with LearnIt Ireland to deliver a series of renewable energy lego workshops in Dublin City Public Library branches.  Nick Sheridan form RTE's News2Day came out to the Coolock workshop to see what it was all about and how the children were being engaged about the benefits of renewable energy in the most fun way possible - through Lego!
